About us

The grand idea for ‘One-Eighty-Five’ grew from the shared imagination of old friends Lenora Garland and John Chesney.  Together, their goal was to open a charming neighborhood dining spot offering familiar dishes served with gracious hospitality.

LENORA GARLAND

Growing up in an Italian-Hungarian family, Lenora's love for cooking was founded early on through home-cooked meals around the kitchen table. Making fresh food with care was and remains a simple tenet of her life. With experience as a personal chef and caterer, Lenora's belief in serving good food to good people guides her restaurant, 'one-eighty-five'.

JOHN CHESNEY

Chef / Kitchen Manager

John's culinary career began courtesy of the United States Air Force, but his joy of serving others is rooted in a familial approach to hospitality. He relishes the opportunity each day to prepare for guests simple foods that bring an inner contentment and hopefully, an outward smile.
